Bugs and Haggy.
I would still like to attend a regular monthly slalom session. There are still too many people missing out on a shit hot sport. I am sure that if you needed any help in any way in doing so there would be plenty of support including myself. Right now seems to be a good time to push it along a little and give slalom the boost that it deserves.
All those in favour...................? |

I think a regular monthly session/informal race, with timing system, would be cool.
For instance, the first Sunday of the month? Easy enough to remember, and we can decide (and publish) the venue as the date draws near.
I'd like to get a variety of venues happening - park slalom, big GS, cyberslalom, and the two current faves, Allawah and P5.

Monthly slalom sessions is a very good idea and something we should start with right now. Bugs has suggested first Sunday of every month. I think that works well. We might skip this coming Sunday, as we have the Bra jam on Sat and we've just had two slalom weekends in a row, but could start with the first Sunday in May.
And we need a name - since its on Sundays, how about the Church of Slalom!!
The idea being that on monthly designated Sundays we have an organized jam session/race with timer in place. Of course, we still might get out and practice at other times, to which anyone is welcome as well.
What does everyone else think about 1st Sunday of every Month?? |

The first Sunday of June is the 4th, which conflicts with the Ingleburn drains expedition, so lets make Sunday 11th June our day of slalom worship.
There's a rugby game at Homebush on that day, so Allawah or the new hill near Blacktown will be the go. Cast your vote. |

Yeh im down for Alla-wah.
MM make sure your there and try rustle up some others eg Benon
Oh and may i suggest that everyone that comes, brings in something of skateboard quasi or small value to choose from as a prize/token of the days event. 1st place will have first pick and so forth. Ill even throw in a few extras as well. That way everyones a winner!
May i just add just to make it a little more interesting because Haggy is so damn good, whos for Haggy getting a 2 second penalty?
