Thanks Bugs, I'll get onto that tomorrow and soften her up, I am 6' and 85-90 kg depending on beer intake and skate output Wink

How hooked am I? Today at Stromlo (5 mins from home) I did 25 runs of ten cones plus a couple of runs of over a hundred pumps cos I just kept going after the cones! That's like a 450 cone a day habit I've formed in two days LOL!! Yes, sore Embarassed

I'll def. have a go at the modded trackers, if the flop effect is anything like the Radikal (I think Paul has that) then that will be sick. Cash and coersion works too Smile

Today was good though, I was hammering it through 7' spacing so I'll bring it down tomorrow and might even get some CROSSers out to Stromlo for a run.

I was at the Hop shop when we setup that board and like bugs said we put in orange/white in the front to start with but had so much extreme turn that we were getting deck bite with two khiro wedges and a quarter inch flat riser. This was with me standing on it at 86kg. we tried some venoms but had issues with the kingpin length. It was either raise the deck higher or change to blue. Having had the luxury of riding with 2 GOG trucks and a foamcore for the last couple years I almost forgot the pleasure gained from spending 2hrs tweaking bushings and risers on a slalom deck, thanks for bringing me back to the old school Scotty and reminding me what its all about lol

I'll chuck a couple extra quarter inch risers in your order just in case

Ah cheers Robbo lol. I threw in a conical bushing from my sons board but it's about the same hardness as the blue so nothing gained. It stops out at about 1 cm from biting at low speeds and lifts the outside wheel, which seems to happen for the first few cones instead of being able to pump through. It only needs the smallest bit more turn-age up front I think.

The more I read the more I realise that GOG etc. are a whole different ball game but I still like the idea of DIY bearings in the trackers to at least get somewhere closer to those exxy precision trucks...

Keep being hooked Scotty you will be mainlining when the timer comes out you wont know what hit ya.

you will be able to tell when you need the exxy trucks, speed wise you will hit the wall, and get frustrated that you feel you can go quicker and wont to go quicker but its just not happening.

glad to read your stoke.
