dose anyone in melbourne actually ride them, it looks so fun to do, i would be interested to try it out, looks like free rideing crossed with bmx

My mate and I had the variants called Sliders, they were awesome! BMX front wheel with freewheel cranks on the hub, mini BMX bars and the plastic rear wheels.

Those things were insane - especially after some drinks! We'd often cruise down to the servo at 2am for a couple of pies and the looks we'd get were priceless.

Even perfected getting it up on two wheels and and cruising.

Get some speed, do mass slides down the road... but don't 180 it at high speed or you get slingshotted right out and over. Oh yes, and don't 2 wheel it down a wet road and turn the corner. Took half the skin on back off.

Noice.

Actually looking at the first Youtube vid, the blue ones were the ones we had. Went through wheels like crazy.
