Wakey wakey rise and be dull. Hey guys I snagged me a Radikal Tail and was wondering if any of you had any advice, yea i know buy a GOG, but I have read some advice, and it all conflicts, so do you set them up flat or de wedged. Help an old senile twat out with some advice. BTW I don't have it in my grubby hands yet, so enough of the ride and try it.

Roll on CHC2010. Very Happy

Judge, to start out try it dewedged a smidge (5 deg) with some orange plus reflex bushings or something around there will be a good start then fiddle from there to your liking. Mate i noticed when i rode one of your boards in canberra your setup was pretty soft on your rear truck (I think it was the virage?) Even tho it has the 0 deg angle (i think?) putting more resistance in your rear through firmer bushings will make you feel more powerful. Some guys have total rock settings on their rear...it will depend on your style (I like mine pretty surfy at the back)

Thanks Nathan, yea I have increased my rear angle on the Virage by 10* about 20* all up and hardened it right up, it gives me more power thru' the rear like you said.
Funny thing is the other board I have the Maysey with Radikals is really surfy and i go cleaner thru the cones on that but i'm dog slow, about 2 seconds difference. I'm hoping that mounting the Radikals claw and tail on a Pirnack and getting the set up right will enable me to go faster, I think I need to get use to a bit of rear movement and somehow learn to get the power down with rear steer in place..
It was mighty good to meet all the Coneheads in Canberra, i am hoping to compete in 4 rounds this year, inc Canberra and Naccos.

If that's for me Braden, I haven't measured the wb, The roadster is sweet at the moment on its current wb, which is at max. the Pirnack I have just thrown together and may need a longer wb as the rear Rad is 13mm wider than the Vite, even with extra spacers in. It's as turny as all hell and pretty stable. I may need to get the Rad faced, maybe 3-5mm off each side of the hanger. I will see how it rolls in anger before i make any decisions. Oh I'm 6' and 120kg so I like a fairly long wb all up. I can generate a good bit of pump with all those kgs, it's just difficult to keep it under control, lol.
